Autumn 2010 Best
New Product Award - Silverwood Victoria Surprise At the Autumn Fair in September 2010, the judges from the CHA
(Cookshop and Housewares Association) selected our all-new Victoria Suprise pan sets as the Best New Product at the show.
AMAZING!! From hundreds of exhibitors and literally thousands of new products, our little company is hugely proud to have
won this award. Many thanks to the judges (your cheques are in the post!).
Victoria Surprise Our new Victoria Surprise sets are a variation on traditional sponge sandwich pans, allowing the user
to make a cake with a hidden "cache" of goodies inside. Instead of the usual layer of jam or icing, Victoria
Surprise fillings sit in a unique space, hidden from view within the cake. What looks like a standard sponge cake on the outside can be filled with a huge variety of delicious
combinations, like Strawberries and Crème Fraiche, or Blueberries and yoghurt. As the fillings are held within a protective ring of sponge, they won't squeeze-out
as the cake is cut so every slice comes out fully loaded with goodies.

Housewares Magazine January
2010 Product of the Year Awards. In January
2010, our newly updated Roasting Dishes won the silver award for product of the Year. The dishes feature a unique basting
handle along the long, leading edge of the pan. This enables safe and simple control of the pan for basting, and general handling.

NOVEMBER
2007- TOP AGAIN!
In
the November/December issue of Housewares Magazine, the final placings were announced of the annual compilation of votes for
the Top Products of the year.
To our great surprise and delight,
Silverwood Bakeware was voted TOP PRODUCT in the British Housewares Industry for the 2nd year running!
For such a small company
to have again finished ahead of the plethora of Household Names who dominate the industry is quite simply amazing! Our warmest thanks to all our customers, and most especially
to those whose votes put us in such an exalted position!
The development of new products forms a major part of our
business model.
Our in-house designers are constantly creating, testing and fine-tuning products, many of which will
become important additions to our range.
Over the years we have received numerous awards for design and innovation. Here are a few of the
most recent:
